Our firm was co-founded by Susan Robertson, the first woman attorney in Missouri elected as a fellow into the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, and is currently the only actively practicing lawyer who is a member of the AAAL in Kansas City. Susan was named Lawyer of the Year 2020 by Missouri Lawyers Media for her appellate victory in State ex rel. Johnson & Johnson v. Burlison, 567 S.W.3d 168 (Mo. banc 2019), which the Missouri Legislature expressly adopted in Section 507.040.4 R.S.Mo.
